This travel package brings together history, culture, music, the daily lives of the local population, marine life, nature, adventure, and fun.
Santo Antão and São Vicente are neighboring islands, separated by only 50 minutes by boat, and together they form a perfect combination for those seeking cultural and nature tourism.

Itinerary
Day 1- Transfer from the airport to the accommodation – 30 minutes
As soon as you arrive at Cesária Évora Airport, our driver and guide will be there to welcome you to the island of São Vicente and arrange your transfer to your accommodation. You will have the afternoon free to rest or, if you wish, to take a stroll around the city.
In the evening, around 7:30 PM, our driver will pick you up from your accommodation for dinner at one of the best restaurants on the island. In addition to enjoying a delicious dinner, you will have the opportunity to experience a live traditional music show in a very welcoming environment. In the end, our driver will take you back to your accommodation.
Day 2- Full day on the island of São Vicente (city tour + half day)
Duration: 6,5- 7 hours
Our guide will pick you up at your accommodation at 9 a.m., and you will do a city tour in the city of Mindelo. He will take you to the most important monuments and places on the island, provide you with relevant information about them, and share interesting stories about the local population. During this excursion, you will have the opportunity to experience a truly local experience. You will also have the chance to visit the sea museum to better understand the history of this island.
After finishing the tour of the city, our driver and guide will take you to explore the other side of the island. You will be taken to the highest point of the island, visit the fishing villages, and you will also have the opportunity to take a dip in the island’s natural pool.
On the road back to the city, you will have the opportunity to stop in the Ribeira do Calhau valley to learn more about the island’s fauna and flora.

Day 3 – Full day Santo Antão
On this tour, you will be able to visit the most fascinating and important points of the island.
The adventure begins early in the morning, with the boat crossing from the island of São Vicente to the island of Santo Antão. Upon arrival in the city of Porto Novo, Santo Antão, our guide will be waiting to welcome you.
As soon as you leave the ferry terminal, you will continue your journey along the old panoramic road that climbs the mountains. As you leave the island of São Vicente and the lava landscapes behind, you will be amazed by the lush vegetation that appears as you reach the top of the mountains.
On this tour, you will be dazzled by the island of Santo Antão. Known as the most beautiful in the country, Santo Antão is the perfect destination for those looking to escape the stress caused by the routine of big cities and who love nature as it is. By visiting Santo Antão, you will have the opportunity to witness the beauty of its imposing and irregular peaks shrouded in mist, deep canyons carved by ancient rivers, and lush valleys covered with sugar cane, coffee, and tropical fruits. In addition to its natural beauty, Santo Antão offers the chance to experience authentic experiences, where you will have the opportunity to meet locals engaged in agricultural activities.

Day 4 – Snorkeling with turtles
Duration: 45 mn – 1h
Our driver will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to the beach, where you can snorkel with the turtles.
This is undoubtedly a unique experience that can be had here in São Vicente. Upon arriving at the beach, our team will be there waiting for you. You will be taken by boat to the location where the turtles live, and as soon as they hear the sound of the fishing boat approaching, they will come to meet you. This activity is carried out with the utmost safety and guaranteed fun. Have your GoPro or cell phone ready to capture the best moments of this unforgettable experience.
At the end, you will be transfered back to your accommodation.
